In Missing You

And losing myself…

Another sleepless night
I crave for your sight
My heart... falling apart, relentless
yet again turning me into a mess
My thoughts racing,
competing your onward gait
Powerless and numb...
Yet again I am the bait!!

Where are you? Tell me...
Where’s your hiding place?
I long for mine...
In your warm soothing embrace...

In silence now, to you I speak
Feeble, my words all but too meak
Of unseething emotion feeling empty inside
Of the demons in my head, scared
And the monsters of the night
In you solace now I seek
As I with disquietude now reek

Painted with desire, you I covet
But darling, that’s not happening now...
you wanna bet??

To the mind, the heart is such a disgrace
Oh it’s fearsomely losing face
Feelings in shreds, as it gathers and contemplates
Tries to manipulate
Love, pain and cravings the mind tries to eliminate
Failure!
Sensing finally it has no say,
drops on its knees, eyes closed, hands held together to pray...

Regrets? Oh no, none at all
It knows it’s buddy is not the one to fall
Tomorrow will be another day
On a new sunshine, new hope
Together the game again they will play

Missing you, yes, will not totally cease
Yet my heart will be a little more at ease
In knowing, will dawn a day too soon...
When we celebrate 'us' under the light of the moon
The day when in your eyes our love will shine
The day when you will be forever all mine!!
